Priscilla E. Jimenez joined Kline & Specter after gaining experience with a federal civil rights office, a Philadelphia hospital and another city law firm while also being an active leader in the Hispanic legal community. She is also an accomplished violinist.

Jimenez has been recognized by The Legal Intelligencer as a Lawyer on the Fast Track. She was also chosen by the independent rating service Super Lawyers* as as among the state's top lawyers 2022-2024 and in prior years (2015-2021) as a Pennsylvania Rising Star, an accolade reserved for the best 2.5 percent of the state's attorneys who are 40 or younger. And Jimenez was chosen for several editions, including 2024, of Best Lawyers in America*, the oldest peer-review publication in the legal profession. She has been recognized as one of Pennsylvania's 100 Most Influential Latino Leaders by WITF, the Harrisburg area affiliate of the Public Broadcasting Service. In 2019, she was recognized by Philadelphia City Council members with a citation for her advocacy on behalf of injured workers and other clients who have sustained injuries. In her most recent case, Jimenez in March 2024 achieved a $32 million settlement with Hahnemann University Hospital in a medical malpractice case in which a child was born severely brain damaged after doctors delayed performing a cesarean section.

Before starting at the firm, where she concentrates on mass torts and personal injury litigation, Jimenez worked for three years at the Locks Law Firm in Philadelphia, where in one of her last cases she was co-counsel in a trial that resulted in a $2.25 million jury verdict for the victim of a head injury.

In prior employment, Jimenez worked as a law clerk with Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals’ Office of General Counsel and a stint as an assistant with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights.

Jimenez, who is fluent in Spanish, is past president of the Hispanic Bar Association of Pennsylvania and past president of its Legal Education Fund. In 2020, she was elected president of the board of directors of the Council of Spanish Speaking Organizations of Philadelphia, Inc. (Concilio), the oldest Latino non-profit social service agency in Pennsylvania. In 2018, she was honored with two posts, being named diversity chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association and also elected by the Pennsylvania Association for Justice to be its Pennsylvania minority governor to the American Association for Justice. Jimenez also serves as chair of the Diversity Committee of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.

Jimenez earned her undergraduate degree from Gordon College in Massachusetts, where she was the recipient of the A.J. Gordon Scholarship, and her law degree from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University. She earned several scholarships at Kline School of Law and received honors in health law concentration and was a Dean’s Scholar for Torts. Jimenez was recently selected for 2017 among Drexel’s "40 Under 40,” the university’s annual compendium of its 40 “most innovative, impressive and inspiring young alumni.” (See Drexel Magazine) Jimenez was also recognized in 2017 as among the Philadelphia Business Journal's "Millennials to Watch" (read article) and in late 2016 as one of the "Delaware Valley's Most Influential Latinos" by the newspaper Impacto

While at Kline School of Law, Jimenez was co-president of the Latin American Law Students Association and the student representative for the American Health Lawyers Association. She competed nationally as a member of Drexel’s award-winning mock trial team.

Jimenez is a recipient of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyer’s James J. Manderino Award for Trial Advocacy. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, where she is a board member and editor of the publication The Verdict.

The Bronx native is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and recently passed the bar in New York state, where she was awaiting admission to the bar.

If all that wasn’t enough, Jimenez is also a classical violinist who studied at The Julliard School of Music – selected from among 40 students for the Music Advancement Program – and performed at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.
