These recordings were made on June 2, 2009, the day of the incident in which Carrie Goretzka was electrocuted by a downed power line. The first is the 911 call made by Jamie Siegel, a neighbor of the Goretzkas. The second is the call made by Westmoreland County emergency personnel to Allegheny Power Co.; the recording shows that it took about 2:25 to answer the call.
